President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has called on Ghanaians to not interfere in the business of the technical team of the Black Stars.
According to him, it will be best for the nation if the "coaches are allowed to handle" the affairs of the squad without any distractions.
His comments follow the mixed reactions over the future of head coach Otto Addo even after guiding the Black Stars to their fifth World Cup.
"I know that we have over 33 million coaches in Ghana, but please, let us keep our coaching to ourselves and allow the coaches and managers to handle the team without distracting them," Mahama said in an interview with Sporty FM.
During the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, Addo played eight games, winning seven and drawing just one in that run.
However, many still feel disappointed in his inability to qualify the Black Stars to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
