President John Dramani Mahama is set to take his Resetting Ghana Tour to the Upper East Region as part of his ongoing engagements with citizens across the country.
The tour, which continues on Thursday, forms part of the President’s post-election appreciation engagements with Ghanaians following his victory in the 2024 general elections.
President Mahama is expected to engage citizens and stakeholders in the Upper East Region while advancing his government’s national reset agenda.
The Presidency says the tour provides an opportunity for the President to interact directly with communities, listen to their concerns and discuss the government’s development priorities.
The Upper East leg is the latest in a series of regional engagements under the Resetting Ghana Tour. A post announcing the visit said President Mahama would spend Thursday and Friday in the region for the latest instalment of the tour.

The tour is also expected to provide a platform for citizens, traditional leaders, community groups and other stakeholders to raise issues affecting the region and seek government intervention.
The Upper East Region played a significant role in Mahama’s 2024 electoral victory, with the National Democratic Congress candidate securing more than 360,000 presidential votes in the region.
