The Dreamz Ladies star capitalised on a rebound after a good save from the Benin goalkeeper, sticking the ball into the right corner to break the deadlock.
Sarah was also heavily involved in Ghana's performance in the game as she chased down everything upfront for Charles Sampson's side.
At the end of the 90 minutes, the versatile player, who was also invited to the Black Queens camp during the last international break, was named the Player of the Match to crown off an impressive performance.
The goal against Benin was her third consecutive goal in the tournament having scored against the host in the opening game before netting again in the 3-1 loss to Nigeria on matchday two.
Coach Sampson will be looking to count on the services of the midfielder once again when the Black Princesses take on Nigeria in their final game on Tuesday, November 11.
