Two people are in critical condition after a motorbike reportedly collided with a tipper truck on the Tsito–Anyirawase Road, prompting an immediate emergency response and police intervention.
Eyewitnesses told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the motorbike veered into the lane of the oncoming truck, resulting in a violent impact that threw the riders onto the roadway.
A witness said, “The crash was sudden. Both victims were badly injured, and people nearby rushed to help before the police arrived.”
Others described the scene as chaotic as residents mobilised to support the rescue effort.
The injured victims were quickly transported to Ho Teaching Hospital, where medical personnel battled to stabilise their conditions.
Hospital officials confirmed that both suffered multiple injuries consistent with a high-impact collision.
Police officers from the Ho West District Police Command, who responded to the incident, secured the accident scene and took custody of the damaged motorbike to aid ongoing investigations.
A police officer at the scene told GNA, “We are gathering statements and examining the vehicles involved to determine the exact cause of the crash.”
Authorities urged motorists to exercise caution along the Tsito–Anyirawase stretch, which residents said had seen an increase in speeding and risky overtaking in recent weeks.
