One person has died, while three others sustained varying degrees of injury in a motor accident on the Juaboso–Bonsu Nkwanta Road in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region.
The accident, which occurred on Saturday evening, involved two vehicles that reportedly collided head-on after one of them veered out of its lane.
Eyewitnesses said the impact was severe, leaving some occupants trapped in the wreckage.
The injured were rescued by passersby and rushed to the Juaboso Government Hospital for medical attention, while the deceased was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police from the Juaboso District Command visited the scene to manage traffic and have since begun investigations to establish the cause of the accident.
