Prudential Bank Limited has organised a series of training sessions for business owners, retail outlet managers and shop attendants in Accra and Kumasi to improve their use of Point of Sale (POS) terminals and address operational challenges.
The sessions brought together customers from the Bank’s corporate, institutional, commercial and retail segments. Participants were also given the opportunity to share feedback on their experience using Prudential Bank’s POS terminals.

Speaking at the Accra session, the Executive Head of Retail and Commercial Banking, Ebow Quayson, said the training was aimed at supporting customers to use digital payment tools more effectively and safely in their daily operations.
The Head of Transactional Banking, Zibrim Mohammed, drew attention to the importance of security, particularly during peak business periods such as the festive season, when fraud and cyber risks tend to increase. He said the training was intended to help merchants understand potential risks and adopt measures to protect their transactions.

The Head of Commercial Banking, Frederick Adomako-Ansah, also briefed participants on other payment and banking options available to businesses, encouraging them to consider a range of solutions beyond POS terminals.

Participants welcomed the initiative and used the platform to share their experiences and challenges with POS usage, offering suggestions for improvement.
According to the Bank, similar training sessions are expected to be extended to other regions in the coming months.
