Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi, have welcomed twins; the couple confirmed earlier today in a celebratory social media post.
The announcement was shared by Adekunle Gold on Snapchat, where he wrote, “Asked God for another child, and he blessed me double,” and posted an image of two baby outfits captioned “Double Trouble.”

The news follows hints of a pregnancy in Adekunle Gold’s recent music video for “My Love Is The Same”, released in late December 2025.
The intimate clip featured Simi with an obvious baby bump and included their daughter Adejare singing, a reveal that sparked fan speculation before the twins’ birth was confirmed.
Adekunle Gold and Simi married in a private ceremony in January 2019. They are already parents to their daughter Adejare, known affectionately as Deja, who was born in May 2020 and inspired Simi’s hit song “Duduke”.
The couple have generally kept their family life private while occasionally sharing meaningful personal moments through their art.
Reactions poured in quickly on social media, with fans, colleagues and fellow artists offering congratulations and prayers.
Observers praised the couple for the way they blend family milestones into their creative work without surrendering their privacy.
For Adekunle Gold and Simi, the arrival of twins marks a new chapter in a life that already balances high-profile careers and family.
