Nana John Gyamfi, the Oti Regional liaison campaign coordinator for Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, has described the former Vice president as the “warrior” the New Patriotic Party (NPP) needs to conquer its opponents in the 2028 presidential election.
In upfront engagement with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Nana Gyamfi emphasized that Dr Bawumia possesses the qualities necessary to lead the party to victory, saying “when going to war, you have to select someone who is skilled fighter or combatant and when his opponent sees him, they begin to run”.
The regional liaison campaign coordinator explained that Dr Bawumia’s leadership skills, vision and experience make him the ideal candidate to take on the challenge.
‘He is the warrior we need to take to the war front and conquer our opponents, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party in 2028, urging NPP delegates to support Dr. Bawumia’s bid for the party’s flagbearer position.
He appealed to the delegates within the region to support Dr Bawumia and not waste their votes on other candidates during the presidential primaries on January 31, 2026.
“Dr Bawumia is the answer to our quest for victory, he has the vision, leadership skills and experience needed to take Ghana to the next level”, Nana Gyamfi stressed.
