The campaign organisation of Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has expressed strong optimism about his prospects in the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primary, insisting that developments on the ground point to a decisive victory.
Speaking in an interview on Citi FM on Monday, January 19, the campaign’s spokesperson, Yaw Opoku Mensah, said the former Minister for Education has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm from party members during his nationwide engagements.
According to Mr Mensah, Dr Adutwum’s visits to various constituencies have generated significant excitement, with delegates and grassroots supporters responding positively to his vision and policy proposals.
He noted that the level of energy and support witnessed at campaign stops reflects growing momentum as the January 31 election approaches.
“The excitement and enthusiasm that follow Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum wherever he goes speak volumes about his chances in the upcoming contest,” he said.
Mr Mensah added that feedback from party faithful across the country has reinforced the campaign’s confidence, stressing that there are no signs of waning support.
“From what we are hearing and seeing on the ground, there is every indication that Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum stands a strong chance of emerging victorious on January 31,” he stated.
The New Patriotic Party is expected to elect its flagbearer on January 31, as it prepares to select a candidate to lead the party into the next general elections.
