The Africa Policy Lens (APL) has tipped former Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to win Saturday's NPP race in the first round emphatically.
In its final survey released on Tuesday, January 27, Dr. Bawumia is projected to win the race by 61%, followed by Kennedy Agyapong at 25.10%.

Following in third place is Dr. Bryan Acheampong at 5.20%, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwun at 0.10% and Kwabena Agyapong at 0.30%.

According to the APL survey, 0.29% of delegates said they won't be voting, while 8% were still undecided.

The survey interviewed 9,122 delegates across all constituencies between December 8, 2025 and January 23, 2026.

The APL's survey is the latest report to tip the former Vice President to win the NPP race in the first round.
Global InfoAnalytics, in its final report released a few days ago, also tipped Dr. Bawumia to win the race in the first round.
