Symphonic Music has announced the release of King of Kings, a symphonic gospel EP now available on all major digital platforms.
The project brings together the grandeur of a full orchestra, the rich harmonies of a choir and the voices of nine gospel artistes, in what organisers describe as a powerful worship experience.
Conceived and produced by Executive Producer, Composer and Conductor Alfred E. Wiafe Jr., the EP seeks to present gospel music in a symphonic form. The six-track project blends orchestral arrangements with contemporary gospel vocals.
“Our desire with ‘King of Kings’ was to create an auditory experience that truly exalts the throne of God,” Alfred E. Wiafe Jr. said. “It’s an unveiling of a sound designed to lead listeners into His majestic presence, where every instrument, every voice, and every lyric serves to magnify His name. The throne is exalted. The sound is unveiled.”
The EP features an array of vocal talents, including Charnte Eseyin, Noble G, Manuel Bless, Grace Charles, Joy Somie, Samuel Hutcherson, Rush The High Priest, L.C. Rudolph and Dave da Musicbox.
The collaborative nature of the project is reflected in songs such as the title track King of Kings, which features Charnte Eseyin and Rush The High Priest, and Adonai, featuring Manuel Bless.
A production team led the recording and arrangement process. The team includes Vocal Director Nayaw, Assistant Production Lead and Bassist Prince Sennah, Band Director and Drummer Emmanuel Bludo Jr., Pianists B Sharp and J. Morris, Synthesist Isaac Obiri Siaw, Guitarist Emmanuel Tetteh, Timpani and Stems by Emmanuel Donkoh, and Project Manager Gideon Donkoh.
Symphonic Music says the project is aimed at reaching audiences globally while promoting orchestral gospel music and worship.
