The Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority, Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, has marked his birthday with a donation to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund as part of the ongoing Kyɛrɛ Wo Dɔ campaign.
Mr. Tamakloe’s contribution followed an appeal from friends and supporters who encouraged him to extend support to the Fund.
In a surprise gesture, the Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku, visited his office with the campaign’s signature Kyɛrɛ Wo Dɔ money box to celebrate the occasion.

Upon seeing the donation box, the NPA boss immediately contributed, opting to give rather than receive gifts on his special day.
He further urged Ghanaians to support the national initiative, describing it as a meaningful way to bring hope and relief to individuals in need of medical assistance.

In addition, Mr. Tamakloe nominated the Chief Executive Officer of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST), Mr. Afetsi Awoonor, to join the campaign and lend his support to the cause.
The Ghana Medical Trust Fund expressed appreciation for the gesture, noting that every contribution—regardless of size—helps provide relief and a second chance to patients facing financial challenges in accessing healthcare.

The Kyɛrɛ Wo Dɔ campaign encourages the public to donate through the shortcode *255# on all networks, reinforcing the message that collective compassion can make a significant difference in people’s lives.
