Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC has appointed Mrs. Elsie Enninful-Adu as a Non-Executive Director of its Board, effective August 3, 2026. The appointment was made following approval by the Bank of Ghana.

Mrs. Enninful-Adu brings more than 30 years of experience in Ghana’s financial services sector, with expertise spanning investment management, private equity and venture capital, corporate finance, capital markets, credit risk, strategic planning, advisory services and sustainable investment.

She also has more than two decades of executive-level experience, as well as significant exposure to corporate governance and regulatory matters. She is currently an Executive Director of Parkstone Capital, where she leads the provision of advisory services to clients in the financial, legal, education and hospitality sectors.

Before joining Parkstone Capital, Mrs. Enninful-Adu served as Team Lead of the Ghana CARES Guarantee Scheme (GCGS), managed by GIRSAL Limited. In that role, she helped establish the Scheme’s operational systems and measurement frameworks and led a team responsible for assessing and processing credit guarantee applications.

Her career also includes senior roles in strategic planning, money markets, corporate finance and advisory services within the financial services industry.

Mrs. Enninful-Adu holds a Master of Business Administration in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast. She is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) of the National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts (NACVA), USA, and has completed several courses offered by the Ghana Stock Exchange.

Welcoming the appointment, Chairman of the Board of Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC, Jonathan Prince Cann, said Mrs. Enninful-Adu’s experience would strengthen the bank’s governance and strategic capabilities.

“We are delighted to welcome Mrs. Enninful-Adu as a Non-Executive Director of the Republic Bank Ghana Board. Her extensive experience across financial services, investment management, corporate finance and governance, together with her deep understanding of Ghana’s financial sector, will be a valuable addition to the Bank,” he said.

He added that the bank was confident her expertise would contribute to its continued growth and strategic ambitions.

Managing Director of Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC, Dr. Benjamin Dzoboku, also welcomed the appointment, describing Mrs. Enninful-Adu’s leadership experience and track record as valuable to the bank.

“Mrs. Enninful-Adu’s breadth of experience and strong track record of leadership make her a valuable addition to Republic Bank. We look forward to working with her as we advance our strategic priorities,” he said.

The bank said the appointment forms part of its efforts to strengthen its leadership and governance capabilities as it pursues its strategic growth agenda and seeks to deepen its contribution to Ghana’s financial sector.
