In Ghana’s rapidly evolving creative economy, few entrepreneurial stories demonstrate the power of resilience, reinvention, continuous learning and purpose quite like that of Freda Kingful Abraham Cudjoe, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Impakers Creative Hub.
What began in December 2011 as a modest, home-based stationery venture has evolved into a multidisciplinary creative and production company providing branding, packaging, bespoke creative and business solutions, corporate gifting, fabrication and event essentials.
At the heart of that transformation is Freda, a creative entrepreneur, brand strategist and business leader whose journey reflects a determination to build not merely a successful company, but an enduring African brand.
From a Small Beginning to a Growing Creative Company
Freda’s entrepreneurial journey is a story of starting small, learning continuously and refusing to remain confined by the limitations of a modest beginning.
Over more than a decade, she has led Impakers through a significant transformation, from a small stationery-focused operation into a full-service creative hub capable of taking projects from concept to production and delivery.

Today, Impakers Creative Hub provides solutions across branding, custom packaging, brand identity, bespoke corporate and personalised gifting, sustainable packaging, custom and product presentation.
For Freda, however, growth has never been simply about increasing the size of a business. It has been about creating value, establishing standards and demonstrating what is possible within Ghana’s creative and production sector.
Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that creativity should solve problems, strengthen brands, create memorable experiences and contribute meaningfully to business growth.
Bringing Structure to the Creative Industry
One of Freda’s areas of influence is her commitment to bringing structure, professionalism and business discipline to Ghana’s creative and production sector.
She believes that creativity alone is not enough to build sustainable creative enterprises. Talent must be supported by systems, processes, standards and sound business management.
Through Impakers Creative Hub, she continues to demonstrate that a creative business can be both highly creative and professionally structured.
Her approach places emphasis on areas such as operational excellence, quality control, client management, production processes, project execution, customer experience, team development, operational efficiency and brand consistency.
For Freda, bringing structure to the sector is not about taking away its creativity. It is about creating the systems that allow creativity to thrive, scale and consistently deliver value.
She is passionate about changing the perception of creative businesses as informal, personality-driven ventures and championing a model where creative enterprises can become professionally managed, commercially viable and internationally competitive businesses.
In many ways, she is using her own entrepreneurial journey as a practical demonstration of what a structured creative enterprise can become.
Where Creativity Meets Business Strategy
One of Freda’s distinguishing strengths is her ability to combine creativity with structure, strategy and commercial thinking. Her academic background in Human Settlement Planning, complemented by professional training in Procurement Management, Human Resource Management and Strategic Management, has helped shape an entrepreneurial approach that goes beyond aesthetics.

She understands that a beautiful product is only one part of the equation.
A successful creative solution must communicate. It must serve a purpose. It must reflect the client’s identity. It must create value. And ultimately, it must contribute to business performance.
This philosophy has influenced the evolution of Impakers Creative Hub into a company that places emphasis on quality, accountability, client experience, innovation, operational excellence and consistent execution.
Delving Deeper Into Entrepreneurship
Even after more than a decade of building and leading a growing enterprise, Freda continues to invest deliberately in her own development. In her pursuit of deeper knowledge and mastery of entrepreneurship, she is currently pursuing a dual MBA programme in Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation with the University of Católica, Italy, and the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
The programme represents another important chapter in her entrepreneurial journey and reflects her belief that successful leadership requires continuous learning, reflection and reinvention.
For Freda, education is not simply about acquiring another qualification. It is about strengthening her capacity to build businesses that are innovative, resilient, scalable and capable of creating meaningful social and economic impact.
Her focus on impact entrepreneurship and innovation is closely aligned with the direction in which she is taking Impakers Creative Hub: building a business that combines commercial sustainability with creativity, environmental responsibility, talent development and social impact.
She is increasingly exploring how businesses can move beyond simply surviving in competitive markets to becoming engines of transformation within their communities and industries.

Building a Brand Beyond Ghana
Freda’s entrepreneurial vision has increasingly taken Impakers beyond the traditional boundaries of the local creative market.
Her participation in international exhibitions and business networking platforms has created opportunities to showcase Ghanaian creativity, sustainable packaging solutions and production capabilities to international audiences.
In 2026, Impakers Creative Hub participated in MACFRUT in Rimini, Italy, showcasing sustainable packaging solutions and engaging with international businesses and stakeholders within the global value chain.
Her international engagements reflect a broader ambition: to demonstrate that African creative businesses can compete on the basis of quality, innovation, professionalism, sustainability and strategic thinking.
Her participation as a panel speaker and exhibitor in the Ghana–Italy Circular Economy Dialogue further strengthened this vision, particularly through her engagement in discussions around women in industry and the role of businesses in advancing circular economy practices.
Creativity With a Purpose
For Freda, entrepreneurship is increasingly becoming about impact as much as income.
She sees the creative sector as a platform for creating employment, developing talent, promoting local production and helping businesses become more competitive.
This philosophy is reflected in Impakers’ growing interest in sustainable packaging and responsible production. Through innovative use of materials, creative product design and thoughtful presentation, the company is exploring how premium branding can coexist with environmental responsibility.
For Freda, sustainability is not simply a trend. It is part of the future of responsible business.
Her vision is to demonstrate that African businesses can create products that are commercially attractive while also responding to environmental and social challenges.
Championing Women, Young People and the Next Generation
Freda’s influence extends beyond the products and services delivered by Impakers.
She is passionate about entrepreneurship, mentorship and creating opportunities for others, particularly women, young entrepreneurs and emerging creatives seeking to build sustainable careers and businesses.
Through initiatives such as SHE Ascent, Freda is committed to supporting women to rise, develop their entrepreneurial capacity and build businesses with greater confidence and resilience.
She is also a strong advocate for practical industry exposure for young people. Through Impakers Creative Hub’s industrial attachment partnership with KNUST’s Department of Indigenous Art and Industry, the company contributes to bridging the gap between academic learning and practical industry experience.
For Freda, the future of Ghana’s creative economy depends not only on established businesses, but on deliberately preparing the next generation to innovate, create and lead.
Building Communities Through Entrepreneurship
Freda’s impact philosophy also extends into the creation of communities around entrepreneurship and values. Through initiatives such as the Faith Fuelled Business Network, she seeks to encourage entrepreneurs to build businesses grounded in purpose, integrity, values and responsible leadership.
Her approach recognises that entrepreneurship can be both a commercial and transformational journey. One that challenges individuals to discover their purpose, develop their capabilities and use their businesses as platforms for positive change.
Recognition for Leadership and Excellence
Freda’s journey has attracted significant recognition. In 2025, she was recognised at the Ghana Forty Under 40 Awards as the Most Outstanding Personality in Press, Printing and Publishing, acknowledging her contribution to Ghana’s printing, branding, packaging and creative services industry.
In March 2026, she reached another major milestone when she was inducted into the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame 2026, further recognising her leadership and contribution to Ghana’s corporate and entrepreneurial landscape.
For Freda, however, recognition is not the destination. Each achievement serves as motivation to continue building, improving and creating impact.
The Woman Behind the Brand
Behind the titles, awards, and corporate achievements is an entrepreneur who understands that building a business is rarely a straight road.
Freda’s story embodies resilience, the willingness to start with what is available, learn from experience, adapt to changing markets and continually improve.
Her leadership journey demonstrates that entrepreneurship is not simply about having a great idea. It is about having the courage to pursue the idea, the discipline to build systems around it, the humility to keep learning and the persistence to continue when the journey becomes difficult.
Her decision to pursue a dual MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation at this stage of her entrepreneurial journey is another expression of that mindset. She is not content with simply being an experienced entrepreneur. She is deliberately positioning herself to become a more strategic, innovative and impact-driven business leader capable of influencing the wider sector.
A Vision for the Future
As Impakers Creative Hub enters its next phase of growth, Freda’s vision extends beyond becoming a bigger creative company. She is building toward a brand that can represent African creativity, innovation, quality, professionalism and sustainable enterprise on the global stage.
Her ambition is to position creativity as a strategic business tool, one capable of helping organisations communicate better, build stronger brands, differentiate themselves, compete effectively and grow sustainably.
At the same time, she is committed to helping bring greater structure to Ghana’s creative and production ecosystem by demonstrating the importance of systems, standards, professional management, innovation, operational excellence and continuous development.
Her journey is therefore not only about building Impakers. It is about helping redefine what a creative business can become. In many ways, the story of Impakers is inseparable from the story of its founder.
It is a story of vision transformed into action, creativity transformed into enterprise, continuous learning transformed into leadership, and entrepreneurship transformed into impact. Freda Kingful Abraham Cudjoe represents a generation of African entrepreneurs who are proving that world-class businesses can be built from local beginnings.

Her journey from a small home-based venture to a growing creative enterprise participating in international exhibitions, receiving national recognition, investing in impact-driven entrepreneurship and championing greater professionalism within her sector, demonstrates what is possible when vision is matched with courage, learning, structure and perseverance.
She is not only building a business. She is building systems, developing people, raising standards and helping shape the future of Ghana’s creative industry.
And if the journey so far is anything to go by, the Impakers story is far from finished.
The next chapter is not simply about how far Impakers Creative Hub can grow. It is about how much impact Freda can create through the business, the people she develops, the brands she helps build and the creative ecosystem she continues to influence.
