President John Dramani Mahama on Friday said his commitment towards the effective partnership of public and the private sector was intact and on track.
He said while trying to normalise the electricity challenges that had plunged the country into long hours of darkness, his administration would also work hard to ensure mutual benefits in the partnership.
President Mahama said this when he paid a working visit to the Accra Brewery Limited.
The visit formed part of his tour to encourage indigenous industries to scale up their production levels to make them competitive on the international market.
President Mahama said government would also review the excise duties to create incentive packages for production, especially in the food and beverages industry.
He said government would do everything possible to provide adequate water for both domestic consumption and industrial use, but cautioned beneficiaries against waste.
Dr EKwow Spio-Garbrah, Minister of Trade and Industry, promised to promote the patronage of "Made-in-Ghana" products.
He appealed to the indigenous industries to make use of modern technology that would make their companies competitive on the international market.
Dr Spio-Garbrah said government would soon come out with policies that would encourage the patronage of "made in Ghana" products throughout the country.
Mr Anthony Gredon, Managing Director of the Accra Brewery Limited, gave the assurance that the company would ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
