Former host of Joy FM's Super Morning Show has been given the green light to campaign for the New Patriotic Party Parliamentary primaries in the Ofoase-Aiyirebi Constituency.
Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah successfully passed the vetting and picked the last slot on the three-candidate-parliamentary primary election scheduled for next month.
In a statement issued in Accra, the shrewd communicator and businessman said he would begin a four-week intensive campaign aimed at winning the slot to lead the NPP in the constituency ahead of the 2016 elections.
Oppong Nkrumah will soon announce a five point plan towards a comprehensive development of the constituency.
"If you can volunteer to assist me in any way as well kindly sign up to support," Mr Oppong-Nkrumah said in the statement.
"I believe God will give us a resounding victory following the hardwork we have done and continue to do with delegates in the constituency," he added.
The broadcaster has two others, Wing Commander Asamoah, 50, a native of Akyem Anyinase, and a retired officer of the Ghana Air Force as well as John Obiri-Yeboah who hails from Akyem Ayirebi, in the Akyemmansa District, an international freight forwarder based in Accra to contend with.
