The Minority in Parliament will today hold a meeting with the Finance Minister Seth Terkper over the decision by Agricultural Development Bank to float shares and sell off its headquarters building.
Key on the agenda is whether or not the bank requires parliamentary approval for the action to go public and list on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
The management of ADB and the local workers union have been at loggerheads over the same issues.
The ADB workers and their mother body Union of Industry, Commerce and Finance worker (UNICOF) have demanded the managing director and the board step aside as the Bank of Ghana looks into allegations of bad management practices levelled against them.
Lawyer for the Minority Alexander Afenyo-Markins tells Joy News the group’s resolve to take legal action will be based on the outcome of today’s meeting.
