Properties worth millions of Ghana Cedis are feared to have been destroyed by the torrential rains that rocked the country on Wednesday.
Joy Business’ Kuuku Abban reports that dozens of vehicles including SUVs, sedans, minivans, etc parked at the garages of Toyota Ghana Company, Rana Motors, among many other auto shops operating along the Graphic Road in Accra have been damaged.

According to him, business activities grinded to a halt on Thursday as managers and workers of these companies count their losses.
Kuuku reports that a blanket of dirty oil has formed a layer over dirty stagnant flood waters around the buildings.
Flood water at the frontage of the companies had reportedly receded but left in its wake a lot of filth yet to be cleared.

A cesspit emptier truck was being used in an obvious attempt to suck out the water.
Managers of these companies declined comment but indicated a meeting is being scheduled on Thursday to assess the damage.
