The Centre for Democratic Development (CDD) is asking the police to arrest National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters who have threatened to vandalize party property if government does not honour campaign promises to give them jobs. There have been several instances this year where activists of the ruling party have forcibly taken over public installations to register their displeasure at the party’s failure to give them jobs.NDC youth in Tamale numbering about a hundred are said to have besieged offices of the Metropolitan Chief Executive making same demands. They issued a three-day ultimatum for the party to meet their demands or they will vandalize the party's structures in the metropolis. But legal officer at the CDD, Kojo Asante says the supporters have no right to behave the way they are doing.“This action must be condemned and be condemned by everybody…because it cannot be good for this country,” he said.Source: Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
