Alhaji Sannie, the Ashanti Regional Deputy Organizer and Yaw Obimpeh, the Regional Youth Organizer, performed the swearing -in ceremony with a call on the executives to help in strengthening the fortunes of the Party in the municipality.
Mr John Alexander Kobina Ackon, Municipal Chief Executive, commended the members of the Party for ensuring peaceful elections.
According to him, it is only through unity, sense of oneness and dedication that the NDC would grow from strength to strength in the constituency.
Mr Ackon reminded the executives about what the spirit of togetherness could achieve and encouraged them to avoid backbiting and power struggle since that would not augur well for the development of the party.
"Remain united and initiate plans and programmes that will entice non-members to come to the Party," he said.
He said partisan politics is about numbers and that they should not hesitate to embark on a membership drive to draw more people into the Party.
