MTN Ghana has been made aware of an image circulating on various social media platforms showing condoms packaged in MTN colours and bearing the company’s logo.
MTN Ghana wishes to state categorically that it has neither produced nor authorised the production of condoms on its behalf for any purposes whatsoever. MTN has launched an immediate investigation into the matter.
The abuse of the company’s brand is an infringement against MTN’s intellectual property rights and MTN will pursue the full rigours of the law against any perpetrators.
MTN remains committed to carrying out its mandate per the communications license agreements issued by the National Communications Authority.
MTN Ghana remains resolute and steadfast in its vision of leading the delivery of a bold new digital world to its customers.
