Host of Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, Kojo Yankson has been invited to appear before Parliament’s Privileges Committee.
Kojo is expected to serve as a witness in investigations into contemptuous comments Prof. Alex Dodoo is alleged to have made about Members of Parliament on the Super Morning Show hosted by Kojo.
Prof. Dodoo had condemned the reaction of politicians to an Ebola Vaccine trial in Ghana after Parliament ordered its suspension when it was greeted with anger.

INVITATION TO ATTEND UPON THE COMMIT!EE OF PRIVIL£GES AS A WITNESS TO ASSIST IN INVESTIGATION OF CONTEMPTUOUS REMARKS ALLEGEDLY MADE BY PROF. ALEX DODOO IN THE MEDIA AGAINST HON, MEMBERS OF THE PARLIAMENT OF GHANA ON THE SUSPENDED PHASE I EBOLA VACCINE TRIAL IN THE COUNTRY.
The Hon. Member for Ho West, Mr. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah on Tuesday, 16th June 2015 drew the attention of the Rt. Hon. Speaker and the House to some contemptuous remarks against Hon. Members allegedly made by Prof. Alex Dodoo on TV3 Network, Joy FM Super Morning Show of Thursday, 11 June 2015 and subsequently reported in other print and electronic media. The alleged contemptuous remarks related to the Hon. Member's statement- and contributions made thereon by other Members on the floor of the House for the suspension of Phase 1 Ebola Vaccine Trial in the country. The Hon. Member subsequently prayed the Rt. Hon. Speaker for the conduct of Prof. Alex Dodoo to be referred to the Committee of Privileges for investigation and report.
Having regard to the Complaint and the sentiments expressed by Hon. Members on same, the Rt. Hon. Speaker, pursuant to Standing Order .31 referred Prof. Alex Dodoo's conduct to the Committee of Privileges for investigation and report.
Accordingly, the Committee hereby summons you under Standing Order 205 to appear before it on Thursday, 2" July 2015 at 2:00 pm as a witness to assist in the investigation of the matter. The meeting will be held in Committee Rooms 1 & 2, New Administration Block, Parliament House, Accra.
You are kindly reminded of your right to be represented by a Counsel of your choice to assist you in the evidence you will adduce during proceedings.
Pursuant to article 103 (6) (b) and Standing Order 155 (b), you are kindly requested to provide the Committee of Privilege the unedited, full length audio recordings of the programme of Thursday, 11th June 2015 in which the alleged contemptuous remarks were made by Prof. Alex Dodoo on the Super Morning Show.
Again the Committee would be most grateful if the audio recording could be delivered to the Committee by close of day on Tuesday, 30th June, 2015. You may contact the Clerk to the Committee of Privileges at the Table Office, Room 15 in the New Administration Block in this regard.
You are entreated to treat this request with the urgency it deserves.
