Two people would be sharing their stories on the BBC World Service after being adjudged winners of the Newsmaker competition for young people in journalism.The two, Emmanuel Acheampong Adamako, 20, a medical student and Barbara Oppong a teaching assistant won the competition with stories on investigation into Ghana's illegal drug peddlers and the country's growing energy crisis.The two stories were chosen from over 700 entries from non-professional journalists. The competition aimed at giving young people with no training in journalism an opportunity for their stories to be heard on BBC network.For their prizes, the winners will be broadcasting their programmes with BBC news journalists in the coming weeks.In addition, they will take home laptops. Five runners-up were also given MP3 players.
