Samsung Electronics West Africa (SEWA) has rewarded three lucky winners with the latest premium smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S6.
The three winners were selected from six shortlisted finalists in the Galaxy S6 Avengers Challenge.
The competition required participants to take “selfies” with posters of four key characters (Thor, Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America) of the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The posters were strategically placed in four of Samsung’s Experience shops in Accra. The three lucky winners out of the six finalists were announced on Samsung’s Facebook page (Samsung Mobile Ghana), at the end of voting.
The competition, which started on June 1, 2015 saw numerous entries from smartphone and Sci-Fi enthusiasts sending in several photos in the hope of winning the high premium Galaxy S6 device.
Out of almost three thousand votes cast for the six finalists, the three winners, Sebastian Doncalos, amassed a total of 915 votes, and followed by Alhassan Ibrahim, 449 votes and Alexander Ansah-Antwi with 408 votes. The three winners received their prizes at a short ceremony at the Accra Mall.
Samsung Electronics partnered Marvel Entertainment for the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie. This partnership saw Samsung creating a host of concept devices for the Iron Man character.
The outstanding features of the Galaxy S6 includes the improved Gorilla glass 4, one of the best on the market, wireless and fast charging features which allows consumers to enjoy a 4 hour battery life after just 10 minutes of charging. The battery power and fast charging features make it one of the most energy efficient smartphones available. It has superb camera quality which makes it an obvious choice for consumers who love to capture every moment even in the poorest of lightning.
Customers of the Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge are guaranteed amazing instant prizes at the Samsung Experience shops. The Galaxy S6 comes with a 24 month warranty and is available at all authorized Samsung dealer shops nationwide.
