Police have started investigations into the murder of a 28-years-old woman whose body was found in a litter bin Saturday. The woman, identified only as Noami, was drenched in blood with her limbs and neck broken when the container was opened by police officers at the scene.According to her mother, Naomi called the day before to say she was on her home.Naomi’s husband, after waiting for hours in the evening of the day in question, tried to call her but her phone had been switched off, Naomi’s mom said. The family called other family members to enquire about the whereabouts of the deceased but none of those contacted knew where she was.The mother said it came to her as shock when Naomi’s body was found yesterday, dumped in the bin of a nearby house. However, the Tesano District Police say they suspect foul play and they are confident of catching the killer.Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Bossoh tells Joy News investigations are underway to establish the identity of the assailant.“She’s been murdered. There are marks of violence by somebody else on her,” Mr Bossoh said. The body has been sent to the Police Hospital mortuary for autopsy.Source: Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
