Tullow Ghana Limited has cautioned the public that it does not use middle men in its procurement process.
"All procurement is done only by the Contracts and Procurement Department of the company," a statement signed by Gayheart Mensah, Communication Manager of Tullow Ghana Limited says.
It has asked members of the public to be wary of fraudsters who might use the company's name to defraud them.
The statement said: "We have a planned procurement process which does not leave any room for such emergency purchases. Besides, the company deals only with suppliers who are registered with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation".
Tullow Ghana has asked members of the public suspicious of any proposed financial transactions for or on behalf of the company to contact the company directly to ascertain the veracity of the proposal.
