The Multimedia Group Limited is appealing for funds for 5-year-old Jemima Quartey whose curved spine prevents her from living a normal life.
When Jemima’s story first broke early last month, some philanthropists donated more than GHC90, 000 for her surgery, but the little child who is suffering from Juvenile Scoliosis needs more.
Doctors at Focus Orthopedic Hospital where Jemima is scheduled to undergo a series of surgical procedures say treatments to correct the very damaged body of the 5-year-old could take years to complete.

Chief Executive of Focus Orthopedic Hospital, Prof Oheneba Boakye-Adjei, says the philanthropic assistance for the girl could not have come at a better time.
“Her condition is such that if we did nothing, she probably would not live past twenty. Her back is so twisted that it may even take about six months of treatment or more, and even after that she may even need more surgeries because she is so young,” Prof Boakye-Adjei said.
Jemima needs more than GHC94, 000 to correct her curved spine.
The Multimedia Group Limited is appealing to the general public to donate to Barclays Bank Account Number: 041 201 80 95, Circle Branch.
