The governing National Democratic Congress is holding its outstanding parliamentary primary at the Ketu-South constituency in the Volta region today.
This follows the dismissal of an injunction application against the party that sought to stop the primary in the constituency.
NDC members of the constituency were unable to partake in the party’s nationwide primaries held on November 21st due to the suit.
But an Accra High Court dismissed a suit by Jim Morti, who claimed he was unfairly disqualified at the vetting.
The dismissal has paved way for the election in the constituency to be held today.
The incumbent, who is also the Minister for Food and Agriculture Fifi Kwetey, will be contesting two other persons, Sylvanus Yao Amedorme and Famous Kuadugah.
About 32,637 registered members of the NDC are expected to vote in 70 centres in the Ketu- South constituency.
