National Democratic Congress parliamentary candidate for the Korle Klottey constituency, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, will on Saturday January 16 join other colleague medical professionals to offer free health screening services to her constituents at the Osu Blogodo Gardens.
According to Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings, the screening, which is the third in the series, is aimed at raising the health consciousness of the general public.
“Many of us fail to visit our doctors when we suffer from ailments we term as mild. Many also tend to self-medicate instead of consulting health professionals. My team and I want to encourage members of the public to embrace regular checkups and we will counsel those who attend the screening to ensure they undergo regular checkups and embrace healthier lifestyles,” Dr. Zanetor said.
Health professionals in attendance will include general practitioners, ophthalmologists, pharmacists and nurses. The screening will be from 9am to 5pm.
