The American Chamber of Commerce Friday signed an MOU with policy think tank, IMANI to enable them conduct a survey to assess the impact of American businesses on Ghana’s development.
According to the Chamber, having operated in the country for a while now, it has become pertinent for the contribution of American businesses to be measured.
President of the Chamber Mona Boyd says an evaluation like this is necessary to measure the transformation, impact and challenges to the private sector and how best they can be developed.
Executive Director of IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe, says this research will help determine if foreign direct investment is the way forward for the economic development of the country.
