Patrick Deku, 30, an illegal chain saw operator, died on the spot at Kyeremasu in the Dormaa East District of Brong-Ahafo on July 6 when a tree he was felling suddenly fell on him.
The body of the deceased had been sent to the Presbyterian Hospital mortuary at Dormaa Ahenkro for autopsy.
In another development, Yaa Pokuah, a rice seller, was attacked by armed men at Boadikrom and robbed of GH¢ 300.00.
The victim was returning home from Techiman after transacting her daily business when the incident occurred.
ASP Savior Ahiamadi, Acting Brong Ahafo Regional Crime Officer, told the Ghana News Agency that the Police were making efforts to track and arrest the suspects.
He urged members of the public who had information about the robbers to inform the police.Source: GNA
