Lawyer Philip Addison says he will be thoroughly surprised if he doesn't win tomorrow's New Patriotic Party Klottey Korley parliamentary primary.
Speaking on the Pulse, a MultiTV programe, Mr Addison however indicated that in the unlikely event he loses, he will support the eventual winner Nii Noi Nortey.
Constituency Vice Chairman of the party, Alhaji Karbo said all is set for the controversial Klottey Korley constituency primary scheduled for tomorrow, February 27, 2016.
Two contestants, former Constituency chairman Nii Noi Nortey and ace lawyer Philip Addison will have the last, hopefully incident free battle, to determine who bears the flag for the NPP ahead of the 2016 Parliamentary elections.
A third contestant and two time failed parliamentary aspirant, Nii Adjei Tawiah, pulled out at the last hour, announcing his support for lawyer Philip Addison.
It will be the second time the primary will be held before the 2016 elections.
The first, organised in August 2, 2015, and won by Nii Noi Nortey was annulled following protests by Addison and Adjei Tawiah that their supporters did not turn out to vote because they were not properly informed.
After months of court suits, a barrage of criticisms, a threat by Nortey to pullout and a decision to return, the party has set tomorrow for an election of one candidate who will attempt to win the seat for the NPP for the first time since 2000.
In 2008 the seat returned to the NDC, and has since remained a seat for the NDC.
Before any attempt to unseat the NDC, Nii Noi Nortey has vowed to repeat a resounding victory in Saturday's internal elections and is counting on his selfless sacrifice as constituency chairman to win the election.
"I am very optimistic I am going to win but like i always keep saying i don't complacent with elections. Not until the last ballot is counted and you are declared winner you are supposed to be working hard," he said.
Frank Davies, who is Campaign manager for Philip Addison is also sure of victory for his candidate.
"What happened in the 2nd August is past and gone. We are in a new regime and i think the good people of Klottey Korle will make the right choice," he said.
Davies advised that whoever wins tomorrow's election must back the other in the 2016 Parliamentary elections.
