A man died after accidentally shooting himself in the face while taking selfies of himself posing with a gun.
The 46-year-old and his girlfriend, who have not been named, had been taking pictures with what they thought was an unloaded weapon when he pulled the trigger.
The girlfriend reported that the pair had done this several times during the day, with the man apparently removing the bullets and then reloading the gun multiple times.
The man was declared dead at the scene in his house in the town of Concrete in Washington State, USA, the Skagit Valley Herald reported.
Skagit County Sheriff’s Office Chief of Patrol Chad Clark said the death was being treated as non suspicious.
