President John Evans Atta Mills leaves Accra tomorrow, Saturday, July 24, 2010, for Kampala, Uganda, to attend the 15th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU), which takes place between 25th and 27th July, 2010.
The Summit, on the theme “Maternal, Infant and Child Health and Development in Africa”, will also focus among others, on the adoption of the African Maritime Transport Charter, and also appoint members to the Africa Commission On Human And Peoples’ Rights (AfCHPR).
A statement signed by Koku Anyidoho, Head, Communications at the presidency, said President Mills who is expected back home on Wednesday, July 28 will present a paper on Ghana in relation to the theme of the Summit.
