The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo Addo has predicted victory for the party should elections be held today.Nana Akufo Addo who was speaking to the BBC after his election as flagbearer over the weekend says Ghanaians are already tired of the government because of the poor economic management.The Ghanaian economy he added is worse-off than it was two years ago.“Most people, apart from fanatics of the ruling party will agree that were we to have an election in Ghana today the ruling country will lose quite badly.“The state of the country the economic situation in the country is much worse than it was two years ago,” he said.Nana Addo also accused the government of trampling upon the freedom of the press and regretted "the manner in which cadres of the party are allowed to behave with a certain level of impunity."That he said is worrying and would have a repercussion on law and order in the country."If these things were to persist the ruling party will be vulnerable in the next election," he said.Source: Joy News/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
