The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the main market indicator, went up again on Tuesday by 26.09 to close at 6,821.80 points from 6,795.71 points the previous trading session.
The change year to date now stands at 22.42 from 21.95 recorded during previous trading session.
Traded volume closed the session at 597,597 shares valued at GH¢1,162,204.42. Ghana Commercial Bank Limited (GCB) led the pack with 540,100 of its shares valued at GH¢1,024,649.00. Fifteen equities sold shares.
On the broader market, there were three price changes, all of which were positives. GCB led the gainers with a share price increase of GH¢0.07 to close at GH¢1.90 while Golden Star Resources Limited (GSR) and HFC Bank (Ghana) Limited (HFC) appreciated by GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢3.62 and GH¢0.52 respectively.
Market Capitalisation closed the session at GH¢18,655.66 million from GH¢18,633.03 million issued shares.
