The Accra Fast Truck High Court 2 presided over by Justice Ofori-Atta has given judgment in favour of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. Gabriel Palmer Buckle to go ahead with the relocation of the Social Advance Institute from its present location.
By the ruling, the school will thus be moved from the Adabraka campus to the uncompleted building at the premises of the Martyrs of Uganda Parish at Mamprobi in Accra.
The Parent/Teacher Association of the institute represented by Madam Henrietta Mante, Margaret Galino and Zara Sakib sent the case to court following alleged death threats on the students from members of the Catholic Resistance Movement, the very group that claimed responsibility for smearing human excrement at the Archbishop’s parish to protest against the relocation.
Most Rev. Gabriel Palmer Buckle faced a huge resistance, including the shit-bombing of his parish since he decided to relocate the school to Mamprobi months ago.
