Calm has returned to Tema New Town after clashes between police and some residents last week.
On Friday some residents clashed with the police over ownership of a piece of land and in the process vandalized the Tema Mantse’s palace.
The residents accused Nii Adjei Kraku of selling the six-acre land to the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, but the Tema traditional council has denied knowledge of the transaction.
Tema Police Commander ACP Augustine Gyening says investigations are still ongoing to arrest suspects who escaped arrest.
