The Nsawam Police at the weekend arrested four suspected armed robbers who allegedly snatched a Toyota Pickup from one Barima Kwaku from Bolgatanga.
Police Superintendent Samuel Anderson Buabeng, Police Commander in-charge of Nsawam District mentioned the suspects as Mohamed Seidu, 28 from Madina; Francis Adjei, 30 from Obodan near Nsawam; Kwadjo Bismarck, 22 from Nkoranza and Isaac Arthur, 27 from Agona Swedru.
Supt Buabeng said the armed robbers attacked Barima Kwaku at Ahodjo Ketewa at a gun-point and seized the vehicle from him.
He said the robbers were arrested at Obodan through the assistance of residents when they abandoned the car and ran into a bush.
When the police search them a pistol, three mobile phones and a cash of GH¢1,085.00 were found on them.
The Commander said the suspects would be put before the Nsawam circuit court while the Police continue with its investigations.
