Some former security operatives who lost their jobs when the NDC came to power are seeking refuge in court.They are demanding that government pay their end of service benefits.The group which filed a petition last year at the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice has vowed to persevere until they get their due after eight years of service to the state.The former operatives numbering about 88 were in an Accra high court yesterday.Their spokesperson, Samuel Ansah said the former security operatives are not demanding any more than their due.“We worked for eight solid years. We didn’t work for a [political] party, we worked for the state, we were state operatives [and] if you come in and say you can’t work with us, give us our end-of-service benefits,” he stated.Source: Joy News/Ghana
