Broll Ghana Limited, a leading firm in the real estate and property industry has donated items worth thousands of cedis to the Mercy Mission Care and Teshie Children’s Centre located at Airport Hills and Teshie all in Accra.
As part of activities marking its tenth anniversary, items which included clothes, student mattresses and pillows, were presented to the beneficiary institutions on their premises.
Presenting the items, the Head of Residential Properties at Broll company, Naa Aadua Nuno, said the company attaches great importance to corporate social responsibility and therefore will continue to support the less privilege in society.
“For this significant year, we sought to establish a culture of giving back to society in line with our daily corporate activities of providing and facilitating accommodation, by supporting the poor and homeless through direct donations,” she said.
She explained that Broll appealed to its numerous tenants to donate items under its project dubbed, 'Goodies in the Barre' which was launched earlier this year.
Receiving the items the resident nurse at Mercy Mission Care, Mr John Asare, expressed his appreciation to the management of Broll for the donation.
He mentioned that the Home, which was established a couple of years ago, has seven males and six females and provides 24-hour service to the aged.
Broll Ghana Limited is a joint venture between Broll Property Group in South Africa, its parent company, Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and State Insurance Company (SIC).
The company, which started operations in 2006, has seen as a significant expansion that has well repositioned it in the real estate and property management industry, offering a myriad of multidisciplinary professionals services, including consultancy.
Broll Ghana Limited’s key functions include Retail Management, commercial Broking, Corporate Real Estate Service, Valuation and Advisory and Residential Property Management, among others.
