A 30 year old Taxi Driver,Victor Afatsawu, has been arrested for running away with items belonging to an Indian national and businessman who hired his service.
Reports say, the Indian businessman hired the services of the taxi diver from Kokomlemle to Kwame Nkrumah Circle and upon reaching Circle, he alighted to check his flight schedule leaving his belongings in the taxi.He realized on his return that the driver had eloped with his three hand bags containing his company’s documents, an HP Digital Camera, a Nokia Cell phone and a cash amount of GH¢1,000.00.The driver who went into hiding was later arrested by the Nima Divisional Police days after at Awutu Papase near Kasoa in the Central Region, through itemized records.He is expected to be put before court Tuesday.Story by Yaa Ayisah/Asempa News/Ghana
