Over 80 graduates of Abbi Creation University College have been offered a free capacity training at OmniBank’s SME clinic.
The mentorship programme is to help the new fashion designers develop their skills to enable them grow their businesses.
Managing Director of OmniBank, Philip Oti Mensah announced this during the graduation ceremony in Accra.
He indicated that, as a bank, they are committed to equipping young people with the requisite skills to enable them make something meaningful for themselves.
The OmniBank MD said the graduates will be offered one week financial management training at their East Legon branch before they start their business.
Mr. Oti Mensah underscored the need for the grandaunts to carefully explore the opportunities the creative industry presents for economic growth.
He urged them to be always abreast themselves with the new trend so as to meet the current competition to enable them compete on the international level.
Mr. Oti Mensah also commended the management of Abbi Creation for heeding to advise to grow their business.
“We are proud to associate with Abbi Creation because they are one of the few clients who do exactly what you advise them that is why they are progressing”. We are proud to use them as an example for developing SMEs” he added.
Founded in 1995 as Saint ABBI'S TRAINING CENTRE, which later became Abbi Creation Fashion & Business College in the Year 2000 when Mr Chester Anie PR PRINTEX GHANA LTD discovered Mrs Abigail Kyere ( Current Principal of Abbi Creation) during PRINTEX FASHION SHOWS.
As a College,Abbi Creation prepares students for entry-level careers in fashion Designing, Event Decoration, Interior Decoration, Communication Arts, Graphic Design, Footwear ( accessories) Design, and Bridal Fashion.
The college is proud of its history of providing graduates with the creative and technical skills demanded by today's employers in African and beyond.
