The lady at the center of a controversy in which two pastors were accused of fathering one child has confessed to lying. The 19-year-old Marian told Adom News she has withdrawn the case from the Accra Regional Office of the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU), because she realized what she was doing was bad. According to her, Pastor Felix Garr was the father of the 12-month-old baby and that her earlier claim to DOVVSU that Rev. Owusu Bempah, Founder of End time Ministries International was the father of the baby was a lie. She had accused Rev. Bempah of denying responsibility for the baby when in fact it was him who impregnated her. Marian said she became part of a plot orchestrated by Pastor Garr to disgrace Rev. Owusu Bempah. Pastor Garr bears a grudge with Rev. Bempah who sacked him from the church. She said she has never had an affair with Rev. Bempah and so he cannot be the father of the child. Public Relations Officer of DOVVSU, Inspector Irene Oppong confirmed the lady had contacted her outfit with the intention of withdrawing the case but said DOVVSU is still interested in unraveling the truth. When Pastor Felix Garr was reached on phone, he declined to comment on the issue. On his part Rev.
