Twellium Industrial Company Ghana Limited, have launched a foundation to manage social projects aimed at enhancing lives of the poor and disadvantaged in society.
Key areas the manufacturers of Rush Energy Drink and Verna bottled water would focus on include; health, scholarships for brilliant but needy students for pupils across the 10 regions of Ghana as well as business development for rural women.
It was founded in October 2016 by brothers Houssein and Hassan Kesserwani who are renowned businessmen, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists.
Twellium Industrial Company which started operations in Ghana in February 2014 sells popular beverages that have been on the US and European markets for over 30 years.
With a tagline ‘Impacting Lives’ it requires disadvantaged individuals to write to the Foundation, spelling out their specific needs.
This would be assessed by a team of experts upon whose advice the requests would be followed through. Further checks are done before applicants finally get to access support.
Head of Projects and Programmes at Twellium Industrial Company Ghana Limited said their doors will be open to every Ghana.
“Individuals in need of educational and other assistance in society are encouraged to write to the Foundation to appeal for support,” he added.
Head of Research at the company, Selorm Kofi Dake, called on other businesses to ensure that society benefits from their operations so as they would impact lives positively.
He said giving back to society should not be seen as doing them a favour as it behooves on every corporate organization to help society especially the poor and disadvantaged.
