The Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (GARCC) has cautioned feuding factions in the Ga state not to disturb the peace in the region.
A statement issued by the GARCC following recent chieftaincy disputes in Accra condemned accusations over government’s involvement in the enstoolment of a traditional leader for the people of Ga Mashie.
The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Armah Ashietey, who is also chairman of the Security Council, told Joy News the REGSEC had directed security agencies to monitor the development and take necessary steps to deal with it.
Nii Armah Ashietey told Joy News it is in their own interest to maintain peace and security in the region.
