Aspiring Member of Parliament for Okaikoi South, Vicky Bright is accusing the incumbent, Nana Akomea of launching a personal vendetta against her candidature.
According to her the Okaikoi South MP was instrumental in ensuring she lost the last parliamentary primaries to her rival Ahmed Arthur.
Vicky Bright who welcomed the decision of national executives to re-run the elections after she petitioned against the voting process says she is appalled at the manner in which the sitting MP, Nana Akomea has conducted himself.
She told Joy News she is alarmed at the way Nana Akomea has lambasted her for no just reason.
Describing his behaviour as “disgrace” Vicky Bright said the Head of Communications for the NPP cannot continue to court hatred for her.
She said Nana Akomea has a right to support whichever candidate he so wishes but must do so in a decorous way.
But Nana Akomea in a reaction said Vicky Bright is only a bad loser who has lost credibility with voters.
He said the “ranting” and “ravings” of Vicky Bright smacks of a person who is confused.
He said he had not hidden his dislike for the candidature of Vicky Bright and publicly pledged his support for Ahmed Arthur.
