Reports say the Birim River has overflown its banks, flooding several communities along sections of the Accra-Kumasi Highway.Marcia Halm, a passenger on a bus whose driver braved the flood waters, told Joy News several houses have been submerged.“The whole road is flooded; it is bad. Some of the cars have had to stop by the roadside.”Source: Joy News
