The Ukrainian government has recognized the contribution of Rev. Gabriel Ansah of Nasem University, a religious programme on Adom FM, to nation-building, and has therefore conferred on him the award of ‘HIS EXCELLENCY’.
The award which will be presented later this year in Ghana when a team from the Ukrainian Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports visit the country is aimed at appreciating and recognizing the contribution of specific African leaders who have made significant difference in their respective countries.
By using the media to provide education, motivation, inspiration and serving as a role model for the youth, Rev. Ansah has risen above his peers leading to his recognition of that state's National Award.
Rev. Ansah is in the same category as the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, President Mills, former President Kufuor, former U.N Secretary General Kofi Annan and Dr. Mensah Otabil.
Rev. Ansah has been hosting Nasem University on Adom 106.3 Fm for more than a decade, creating an avenue for bible teaching and learning.
Rev Ansah prayed to officially open Adom FM in 1999 and became a programme host there after a stint with Joy FM where he shocked many with his prophesy of the demise of Sadam Hussein.
Over the years, he has inspired hopes of several people in a world filled with trouble.
Through his immense contributions, the station has grown to become arguably the number one radio station in Ghana, influencing the lives of many.
Rev. Ansah told Adom News that though excited about the award, he believes more work needs to be done to spread the word about the ‘last days’ of this world.
He has 5 books to his credit; including the popular ‘End Time’ series.
From a troubled background, where his father shot himself whiles he was just 13, Rev. Ansah was attracted into evangelism at a younger age.
From the Kaneshie market where he started preaching, he has grown into a fine young man, married with two children.
