Vice president John Dramani Mahama says government is committed to ensuring that the Savanna Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) succeeds and benefit the people of the three northern regions. He said government is in the process of appointing the chief executive and operating officers of SADA so they can plan activities of the authority. Vice President Mahama said this in parliament when he paid an unannounced visit to the House Thursday. He assured parliamentarians and people of the northern regions that adequate funds would be made available for the operations of the authority after the operating officers have been appointed this year. Vice President Mahama also noted that the government was working assiduously to ensure that the Better Ghana Agenda benefits every Ghanaian. He rebuffed accusations of government performing abysmally in the agricultural sector. Story: Asempa News/Ghana
